Rev Senoelo Dithebe MatshegoBorn, 03 March 1917; died 16 August 2008. A moKgatla-wa-Kgafela born in Mochudi, Botswana,  Senoelo Samuel Dithebe Matshego was the second child Dithebe and Morongwa Matshego. He went to school in Mochudi where he completed Standard Six. He did a teacher training at Stofberg Gedenskool from 1936 to 1938. He taught at Lesetlheng and Ofense Primary Schools, both in Saulspoort, as well as at Magong and Maile Primary Schools, also in the Pilanesberg. Later, from 1963 to 1983, he did theological studies at Stofberg Teologiese Skool in Turfloop and became a pastor. The Reverend Matshego then took charge of a congregation in Mabeskraal and later in Dinokaneng. His last posting before retirement was at Dinokana-Kgote. He was married to Lerato, the daughter of Kobedi and Mmamothulwa Sefora. Senoelo and Lerato had ten chidren, six boys and four girls, two of whom passed away. In the Pilanesberg, Matshego is recognised for having served his community well and built churches for them. He was also a member of the Setswana Language Board. He participated in the revision of the Bible and its translation into the seTswana language. He was involved in the translation of hymns from seSotho to seTswana, which were subsequently published as the Hosanna Hymn Book. Among the Dinokaneng community, in which he spent the most part of his life as a pastor, he was instrumental in the construction of a middle school, a clinic and the installation of piped water.
